Even thought this was Thursday night's game, we're hoping you'll enjoy pitting the Oakland Raiders Black & White chili against the Denver Broncos Mountain Elk Chili.

May the best bowl win…
Oakland Raiders Black & White Chili

1 bottle of Guinness beer
2 cups of chicken stock
1/2 lb ground black angus beef
1/2 lb ground turkey
1 white onion diced
1 tin of black beans
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tins of diced tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil


  • Add the olive oil to a large saucepan 
  • Add the diced onions and cook until soft
  • Add the ground meat and cook with the onions thoroughly
  • Add the spices and allow them to cook into the meat for 5 minutes
  • Pour in the chicken stock, tomatoes, tomato paste and beer
  • Simmer on low for 3-4 hours
  • Add the beans and cook for an additional 30 minutes


Denver Broncos Mountain Elk Chili

1 lb of fresh ground elk
1 diced yellow onion
1 cup of chopped green chilies
1 tin of pinto beans
2 cups of chicken stock
1 cup of red wine
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp olive oil


  • Add the olive oil to a large skillet and heat
  • Add the onions and ground meat to the skillet and cook thoroughly
  • Add the spices and allow them to cook into the meat for 5 minutes
  • Pour in the red wine and simmer for an additional 5 minutes
  • Add the chicken stock and chilies and cook on low for 3-4 hours
  • Add the pinto beans and cook an additional 30 minutes
