Beer has definitely been a player in politics lately. From the White House Honey Ale petition, to President Obama's beer summit, and a starring role in the History Channel series How Booze Built America, beer is everywhere!

It's latest appearance comes in a National Media Research, Planning & Placement study. This study revealed which brands of beer came with the most political involvement. For example, Sierra Nevada drinkers were far and away the most involved, and were primarily High Turnout Democrats. Amstel Light on the other hand, ranked most political amongst High Turnout Republicans.
