While 9 out of 10 Yumologists agree that microwaves provide a quick and easy solution to hunger, heating and even preparing a meal, the benefits of taking time out to cook your own food on the stove top or in the oven far outweigh the conveniences of today's microwave.

Studies show that microwaves distort the moleclular structure of the foods, destroying natural nutrients and causing many other problems with your immune system over a period of time. Microwaves rely on small doses of radiation, the same radiation that we are told to avoid on a daily basis. The radiation when concentrated and filtered through a microwave causes friction which creates heat. But just as radiation is bad for your body, it's also bad for the things you put into your body - like FOOD!

Do yourself, your family and humanity a favor and ditch the microwave. Stick to good ol' fashioned pots and pans and keep your food YUMMY!
