Since our Yumologists recently discovered that today is "Eat What You Want Day" we've found the most decadent dessert recipe we know. Wichita-based Yumologist Tessa Morrow-Konen first alerted us to the existence of this exotic edible and since then we can't get its dark and sultry flavors off our minds.

Living up to its name isn't hard for this dessert so grab a fork, turn the lights down low and prepare for the most intense dessert experience you've ever had.

Better Than Sex Cake

1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix (plus the ingredients required on the box)
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 jar of caramel ice cream topping
1 bag of crushed Heath bar topping
1/4 cup of Kahlua or a coffee flavored liquer
1 tub of whipped topping (optional)

  • Follow the baking instructions on the box of German Chocolate Cake.
  • After baking cake remove from oven but leave cake in pan and let cool for 15 -20 minutes.
  • Once the cake has cooled but it still somewhat warm leave it in the pan or dish and take the end of a wooden spoon to make holes 1" apart throughout the cake.
  • Brush the top of the cake with a thin layer of the Kahlua. (A Yumology variation!)
  • Slowly pour the sweetened, condensed milk over the holes and allow it to seep into the warm cake.
  • Now do the same with the caramel ice cream topping.
  • Here is where you can choose to add the whipped topping or not. Our Yumologists actually prefer to leave it off since it dilutes the richness of the cake, but we leave the decision up to you.
  • Sprinkle the crushed Heath bar over the top of the cake.
  • Let the cake sit and soak up the flavors for another 15-20 minutes then cut, serve and let the warm, erotic flavors torture you with pleasure.

Dessert will never be the same…
